This was an anniversary present from my girlfriend and I am now hooked!

This case is incredibly well built, the clarity is fantastic. All of the miniatures are seen clearly through the case and the build is very sturdy. With the inserts to hold the bases and the magnets (sold separately) all of the models are held firmly and is a much better storage solution than any other case / foam combo. Everything arrived in a beautiful crafted box, complete with a cleaning cloth. I am definitely going to expand on my purchase with some additional units to add to the case, which is another great feature. The modular aspect means you can add to this as your miniature collection grows without having to buy a whole new case.

My only critique is that there were no instructions for the Orca case included and so it was a little confusing to put together. But once I figured it out, everything came together perfectly. Very hapopy customer.

The design and the quality of this amazing case is just impressive. I just have to buy another one for the rest of my collection. I regreat I didn't do it in the first place since I have to pay import taxes and I could have saved some money with a bigger order.

I cannot stress enough how utterly impressed I am with my Humpback Cube, and Crystal Fortress overall. Starting with the box opening experience, it was something you would expect from Rolex or Lamborghini. The attention to detail was fantastic. And seriously, a hand-written thank you note? Who does that anymore? An outstanding touch. As for the product itself, the Fortress is simply magical. What an impressive way to display my artwork. My minis have gone from sitting on a shelf collecting dust to looking like they are in a museum display. As my collection grows you can be rest assured that I will be purchasing another one, and I will be sure to let the members of the multiple RPG Facebook forums I'm on know that Crystal Fortress is well worth the money.

Someone put a lot of carefully thought into choosing these.

The magnets and targets are just he right size and power to hold models securely but still easy to remove from the case.

I can just reach in and grab a mini, or place one down without much thought while at the same time I can turn my case upside down without anything falling out of it’s spot.

My one regret is that I didn’t buy more. I thought I’d try them out and then see if I could do my own for cheaper. But these are so good that I’m just going to buy several more packs.

If you’re like me, you are looking at these reviews thinking that Crystal Fortress looks cool, but are trying to decide if it is worth the price.

I’m here to tell you that I have exactly 2 regrets after my first purchase.
1) I should have ordered more.
I figured I’d see how things went and then order additional cases. Rookie move.

2) I clipped my nails the day before my bundle arrived, and that made peeling the lining off the acrylic harder.

The case is everything they tell you it is.
It’s beautiful, easy to put together, well designed, and well made.

The customer service is spot on. I had a promotional coupon that expired while I was waiting for bundles to be back in stock, and they agreed to honor it once my product came in.

I also broke a piece while assembling (my fault, not a design or manufacturing error) and when I asked about getting a replacement I got a response within hours (on a Sunday!) saying that of course they would send me a replacement part.

This Layout Layer is a good fit for my prepainted WizKids minis for D&D 5e and Pathfinder and my Hero Forge mini. The magnets round out the solution nicely.

After carefully magnetizing and painting sport trophy cases from the craft store to hold my minis for display, and then having to shift them to another case for transport, I decided to take the plunge. My only regret is not going for a larger size bundle. The 1/4 fortress cube will not hold much of my collection once I finish magnetizing my minis. The case was super easy to assemble, and the acrylic is very clear and displays my minis beautifully. Once I got the transport strap installed, the whole unit seems very sturdy, and I would feel completely secure toting my collection around in it. A great product.

Just perfect for displaying my minis and easy access for tournaments

The product itself is something I have needed for years and just didn't know it.

I started with the setup in the picture for my Infinity Yujing. With the targets and rare earth magnets it is secure enough to transport (obviously still with care, nothing is going to protect minis from a tumble down the stairs).

Initially, one of the components was sent incorrectly. I contacted Crystal Fortress and they immediately set to fixing the issue and mailed me the correct components.

My one caveat is that care should be taken while putting the cases together/pulling them apart. The material isn't going to stand up to a lot of torque. This is not a problem at all while using the cases after they are constructed.

I have since purchased more gear to add to the stack and will likely buy more in the future.

Case is excellent for my needs of storage and display of my death guard. I enjoyed assembling the case and the ease that everything went together, the ball locking system makes my inner engineer geek out just thinking about it. Would highly reccomend to anyone wanting a unique and different storage method.

I've started collecting Warcry Bands and I wanted something small to help in transporting to and from where I play. These are perfect for fitting in my bag and transporting without taking up a ton of space. It holds way more than I expected it to as well.

Let me just start this off with a wow! I could not be happier with my crystal fortress carry case. I built the whole unit in less than 2 hours and was very happy with how easy it all went together. Plus, with the magnets and trackers... it is easy, and beautiful to transport. Gone are the days of losing armys to troublesome foam. The best part is, my army is on display 24/7. The question isn't whether I like and will keep using it, the real question is how many more I will buy in the future. If you are on the fence, just pull the trigger. There is no way you would be disappointed. If I could add one thing, it would be a case designed for fliers. Other than that, its 100% perfect.

The 50mm layers are perfect for my Dothraki horde for A song of ice and fire. There is plenty of space between each model to allow for display and transport with models touching each other. I have had no issues transporting with layout, but will add some troop targets shortly for added comfort.
Since purchasing these products I have painted more models and played more games as I see them displayed everyday. Not only are the cases and layers gods for displaying models, but it’s good for gaming as we all display and share out hobby.

My son and I have been playing war games for years, but this is the first purchase from Crystal Fortress. It won't be the last! I was impressed with all the little details and engineering that clearly has gone into this product. From the great packaging to the use of small feet that give the lids and the cases a perfect amount of grip to the clever emails- I am very impressed. We have gone from hiding our minis in foam trays to proudly displaying them in our game room for all to see. Thanks Crystal Fortress, you've got a return customer for sure.
For anybody trying to decide to get this product- its well worth it. The site has a printable template that lets you make sure you have the right layout for your minis, and the cases areas clear as they look on the site- no photoshop magic. I like that I can get different size products and layouts for all the different games we play. It allows me to make really cool display cases that we can pick up and take with us.
