These cases are perfect for storing your small size Star Wars Armada ships along sidr some squadrons!
I actually asked about 28.5mm options a while back and got a very exciting response about this coming soon, and I am very happy with what was delivered. Along with the premium/no handle case, it looks excellent and will look even better with painted space squats, soon :)
Corey, you inspired Big Red, and he made it happen!
Figured I would try the no handle style out to fit a few hordes of 25 and 28.5mm plastic soldier, and it did not disappoint. The case is still quite rigid without the handle, and as always crystal clear, now with an unobstructed view of the entire little horde!
Oh yeah! Let everyone see that beautiful horde!!!
Like others have said, this idea is great. I love less waste in the product. However the slits in the box do not fit the buckles. You need to cut them wider and taller to get this mounted.
I'd like to see this added to the acrylic itself, if possible. The boxes have a cover option already, so the cardboard isn't really adding anything if you pick it up. You can still cut the cardboard for those who don't want the acrylic cover, but adding in a slot into the covers and tracks for the bottoms would be great for keeping things together and transportable.
Thanks for the feedback!
There's not too much to say other than these are legitimate N52 strength and just about the perfect size and hold for your average 28mm scale miniature. I had a tendency to go with larger magnets beforehand, but I'll stick with these for any 28mm (ish) infantry from now on! They fit perfectly with the troop magnets without sticking up, too.
