Yes, for orders shipped in the continental United States that meet a minimum purchase amount.  Please see the top banner on the homepage for the current minimum that qualifies for free shipping.  Free shipping applies to a single order and cannot be combined with other orders.  A handling fee will be applied.  Free shipping may not be available during promotional sales.

Shipping Rates

Our product is flat packed, fairly heavy, and shipped from Los Angeles, California.  If you live any distance away from the US west coast, shipping prices can be elevated.

Do you offer International shipping?

Yes, Crystal Fortress ships to many International countries, but not all. If we do not ship to your country please contact us.

Do I need to pay duties?

Most likely...  Please contact your countries customs department to determine if you will need to pay duties for shipments from the United States.

How can I reduce the shipping and duties cost?

We recommend that our International customers find a few gaming friends that are interested in Crystal Fortress, and place a larger group order.  Sharing is caring, and a great way to split the cost of shipping and duties!

What is Crystal Fortress?

Crystal Fortress provides multi-use display units and accessories for the gaming and collectibles industries that have been searching for a solution to organize, protect, and proudly display their collection in a manner fitting the respect that it deserves.

Who is JRI?

JRI is Jordan River Industries LLC., the parent company that owns Crystal Fortress.  JRI is a creative workshop that produces innovative design solutions of manufactured products to fund its passion to help the underserved globally.

How is the system modular?

Our product is designed to work together seamlessly.  Our cases/covers have locking tabs that allow each to be stacked on top of each other in any rotated direction.  Think large LEGO bricks for your miniatures!

Do I need to buy glue to build the cases?

No.  Our patented locking system allows you to build your Crystal Fortress without the need for glue!  We sell top-quality CA glue to glue the magnets to the bottom base of your miniatures.

What are all these Layout Layers for anyway?

Layout Layers are panels that fit securely in a case and/or cover. They have slots cut out for you to place you miniatures in. Layout Layers are not only a great way to organize your army, but they also assist in securing your troops in the display cases and covers.

Place Troop Targets in the slots to align to the Troop Magnets under the base of your mini's.

Can smaller based models fit in larger slots? Is that recommended?

Yes and maybe!  We recommend trying to find a Layout Layer with slots that match your miniatures bases, though slightly smaller bases will work okay if you magnetize.  For example, if you have a couple 30mm bases, you can still fit them in 32mm slotted Layout Layers.

What do I do if I cannot find the perfect Layout Layer for my needs?

There are a few options if you cannot find the right Layout Layer.

1. Custom Layout Layer - We can make that perfect Layout Layer for you!  Just contact us for details.

2. Iron Sheet* - Use an Iron Sheet, which allows you to place your miniature anywhere you want! 

3. No Layout Layer - Stick Troop Targets directly down to the base layer of the case or cover where you want to place a miniature.

* We recommend using Iron Sheets only on the bottom layer of cases.  They tend to block the light from penetrating lower levels of cases.

Who is Big Red?

The coolest dreadnought sized red robot that hangs out at Crystal Fortress central!!!  He's really here to get stuff down from the top shelves, just don't tell him we said that...

Tell me about the program!

Big Red's Reward Program is a way Crystal Fortress can reward our world-class customers!  As you purchase product, share Facebook posts, write reviews, etc, you will collect Crystal Shards that can be used to purchase rewards.  You will also progress through VIP tiers.  Each tier is loaded with benefits only available to customers in that tier.

What is a Crystal Shard worth?

Crystal Shards are the name of the reward points and are worth roughly $0.01.  They can be more valuable when you use them to get a percentage off discount.  For example, if you spend 2000 Crystal Shards on a 20% off discount, you can save a lot more than $20.  It is up to you to get the most value out of each Crystal Shard!

Do I Need to Sign Up?

Yes.  Please click on the "Reward" or small crown icon on the lower left corner of the website to access the program & sign up.

Do my Crystal Shards expire?

Yes.  There is a set time frame to acquire and use your Crystal Shards.  Please see the reward program for the time interval.

What are VIP tiers?

VIP tiers grant bigger and better rewards and perks.  There are four different tiers that are attainable.  Cadet Drone, Assembly Drone, Sensei Master, and Big Red.

How do the VIP Entry Rewards work?

VIP Entry Rewards are only ever rewarded once.  They are rewarded the first time you enter that tier.

What are VIP perks?

Each VIP tier have various perks that are only available to customers in that tier.  For example, customers in the Sensei Master & Big Red tier has access to museum grade acrylic for their cases and covers.
